Myriophyllum aquaticum (Vell.)

Myriophyllum aquaticum is a perennial aquatic plant, native to central and south America. It has a worldwide distribution. It is a common plant in the aquarium hobby. However, it spreads easily and has become an invasive species in many areas. This plant is commonly called “parrot feather” due to its feather-like leaves.
