Mountain Stream, Hainan, China

China, Hainan, Hainan

Hainan is one of the most biodiverse areas in China with over 4.600 types of plants and more than 570 species of animals. After living on the nearby island of Hong Kong for two years I fell in love with the peaceful beauty of a Southern Chinese stream. Hainan is one of the few places where small populations of native white cloud mountain minnows have been found, but the exact location of the population is kept secret.
