The Biotope Aquarium Project (BAP) is an international educational initiative focused on the study of real freshwater ecosystems and natural habitats. BAP is based on field observation of natural habitats (BIN – Biotopes in Nature) and their scientific interpretation into educational ecosystem models (BAM – Biotope Aquarium Models).
