Description
The light spectrum of aquatic plants, however, varies considerably from the spectrum in the home or the LEDs for torches. What’s important here is the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) range and a full spectrum which covers ALL the spectral ranges of the visible light spectrum. It is the combination of these two components which has enabled the creation of the perfect light for aquarium plants!
The special features of the new JBL LED SOLAR lights:
The JBL LED SOLAR lamps are suitable as replacements for ALL fluorescent tube lengths. Along with the light, the standard JBL SOLAR NATUR equipment includes a remote control unit for simple and professional operation. With the IR remote control several JBL LED SOLAR systems can be operated simultaneously, as the frequency of the IR receivers is identical. If you don’t want this, just move the receivers further away from each other. Then each LED unit can be operated individually with the same remote control.
Marine water: The JBL LED SOLAR NATUR was originally developed for freshwater aquariums, but has also proved very popular with marine aquarists, as almost all cultivated corals come from shallow waters where they receive full sunlight. If you combine the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR with the JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT, you’ll attain a colour temperature of 7800 Kelvin.
Lengths: the lengths stated (e.g. 16 W LED = 43.8 cm T5/T8 tube) refer to the fluorescent tube you are replacing.
Length of the lamp: 16 W/43.8 cm; 20 W/54.9/59.0 cm; 28 W/74.2 cm; 31 W/84.9/89.5 cm; 47 W/104.7 cm; 48 W/114.9/120.0 cm; 53 W/144.9/150.0 cm
Length with plug-on holder suitable for: 16 W/45-70 cm; 20 W/55-80 cm; 28 W/75-100 cm; 31 W/85-110 cm; 47 W/105-130 cm; 48 W/115-140 cm; 53 W/145-170 cm
General calculation of lamp length:
Stated length e.g. for 31 W 849 mm incl. retrofit adapters for the replacement of fluorescent tubes, minus adapter lengths (always the same): -50mm -5mm= 794mm real lamp length.
Compatibility of the JBL LED SOLAR Gen.1 to Gen. 2:
Most parts are compatible with each other. If you need to replace your remote control or the IR sensor you will only be able to connect both to the other generation as the IR receiver and remote control must always be from the same generation (same frequency).
