Rio Mapuera, Brazil

Sponsored by

The 1989 biotope research in South America also concerned Rio Mapuera. This is a clearwater river that flows in Brazil. Many blackwater creeks flow into this river which is full of rapids and cataracts, natural barriers for many fish species. However, some different species were collected.
