Chalceus erythrurus Regan, 1912

Chalceus erythrurus is a freshwater fish native to Peru and present across the major river basins of South America. This species mostly inhabits tropical surface waters of floodplain rivers and lakes. It has an elongated, body with large scales red or yellow scales.
