Pure water for healthy aquariums
The Dupla RO 600 Reverse Osmosis System provides high-quality purified water for both freshwater and marine aquariums, helping aquarists achieve optimal water parameters and solve many common water quality issues.
Reverse osmosis works through a physical filtration process: tap water is passed through a semi-permeable membrane that retains dissolved pollutants, salts and hardness components. Substances such as silicate, nitrate, sulphate and heavy metals are significantly reduced, creating an ideal starting point for aquarium water preparation.
Unlike ion exchange systems, reverse osmosis does not replace unwanted ions with others. Instead, contaminants and excess minerals are physically removed from the water and discharged as concentrate.
The integrated ultrapure water filter with Duresin RI resin provides additional purification of the permeate, removing remaining impurities and indicating resin exhaustion through a colour change from blue to green. The included PWT digital pure water tester allows easy monitoring of water quality at any time.
The Dupla RO 600 is supplied fully assembled and ready for use, including sediment filter, carbon filter, membrane, ultrapure water filter, hoses and all necessary accessories.
