Gel-o-Juice Cyclops is a premium liquid zooplankton food made with a high concentration of Cyclops (copepods), one of the most valuable natural food sources for freshwater ornamental fish. Rich in proteins, essential fatty acids, vitamins and natural carotenoids, it supports healthy growth, strong immune function and enhanced natural coloration.
The small particle size makes Gel-o-Juice Cyclops particularly suitable for small ornamental fish, juvenile fish, shrimp and other freshwater invertebrates. Once added to the aquarium, the food remains suspended in the water column, encouraging natural feeding behaviour similar to that observed in wild aquatic habitats.
Gel-o-Juice Cyclops is a modern alternative to frozen food, providing the same nutritional value while offering greater convenience and hygiene. It requires no freezing or thawing, has a shelf life of 24 months without refrigeration, and eliminates the risk of introducing parasites or unwanted pathogens commonly associated with live or frozen foods.
The liquid formula allows precise dosing, minimizing food waste and significantly reducing phosphate and nitrate input compared with conventional frozen foods. This helps maintain stable water quality, making it particularly suitable for biotope aquariums, planted aquariums, breeding tanks and freshwater community aquariums.
The food can be dispensed directly into the aquarium using the dosing cap or administered accurately with a pipette.
