Hans-Georg Evers: Very nice aquascape but not a biotope set-up. Lake Inle looks completely different.
John Lenagan: With this entry the assessment was based on the 4 still images of the tank and Biotope with only one overall view, additional images or video would have assisted with the assessment. The overall composition was pleasing to the eye and well balanced given the tank could be viewed from two sides. It was evident the tank setup was relatively new and the planting was not well aged hence the effective Biotope appearance lacked some realism. The tank setup and composition given the cubic format worked well with the asymetrical root and rock composition, the numerous sharp edged rocks at the lakes edge seemed odd, however with the tree root and planting was well composed and did create a sheltering island for the fish. I sensed there could have been a wider range of fish species and was surprised that only the two were selected with no invertebrates. The Valisneria in the back ground was not a local plant and it would have been better to see one of the Sagittaria or Potamogeton used instead.
