INDONESIA: Pseudomugil sp. from Aru Archipelago

In his 1910 paper Weber mentions that the German Hugo Merton, who had a 1907 research project sponsored by the Senckenbergischen Naturforschenden Gesellschaft and who travelled 1907 to the Kei- and Aru Islands with his friend, Jean Roux from the Naturhistorischen Museum in Basel, collected next to the new species also another blue eye which might be his 1907 described Pseudomugil novaguineae from New Guinea. But they had collected only two very small specimens (and novaguineae I never was able to find so far on Aru)…
