Coban Rondo Waterfall is located in Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java. This waterfall is easily accessible by public transportation. The easiest access is via the highway from Malang to Batu, from the east or from Kediri to Pare to Malang from the west.

Coban Rondo is located at an altitude of 1135 m above sea level. This waterfall has a height of 84 meters with water discharge ranging from 90 liters per second in the dry season, up to 150 liters per second in the rainy season. Coban Rondo is actually part of a group of tiered waterfalls (starting with the twin waterfalls named Coban Manten which merge into one called Coban Dudo, and then flowing downwards as Coban Rondo).

In the river, there are many fish like Nemacheilus fasciatus, Rasbora argyrotaenia, Channa limbata, Barbodes binotatus but not found any aquatic plants, there is only algae attached to the rocks, roots and twigs of plants, usually used for fish storing eggs.

There are many trees in the river which makes the river a lot of tree branches and tree roots. so it is widely used as a nest by fish.

Underwater landscape

In the river there are a lot of rocks, tree roots and tree branches fell. Because of the direct exposition to sunlight, there are a lot of algae and is a place for fish to breed.
