…And in the open water where it was flowing very fast I found juvenile Barillius species. There was only one Puntius species, probably Puntius waageni living along the edge only in a still water region where I also found an interesting shrimp. After searching on both sides of the river, up and down river, I was sure to have caught every species living here and while I was really getting cold from walking in this strong currant often down to my chest.…
